I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D.) in private practice in Boca Raton for almost 20 years. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and groups helping them through challenges and transitions in their personal/relational, academic, and professional environments. My practice is made up of predominantly professionals and college/graduate students. I specialize in assisting them with career and life transitions, substance use, marital therapy and divorce, personal growth, bereavement/loss, self-esteem, depression and anxiety.
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in advertising from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and went on to earn my Masters and Doctoral degrees from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. Prior to private practice I worked at The George Washington University Counseling Center where I specialized in individual and group therapy, consultation and outreach programming, and career counseling with students, educators and university personnel.
I relocated back to South Florida in 2003 and joined Corporate America as an Organizational Consultant and Executive Coach for Right Management. I realized that although I had a passion for helping people build their value, their self-worth, and their relationships, I did not enjoy the confines of corporate politics and decided to transition my skillset into private practice. I enjoy helping my patients learn about themselves and develop the tools to deal effectively with the uncertainties of life.
I enjoy giving back to the community and currently sit on the board of the Adolph and Rose Levis Jewish Community Center (JCC) as Immediate Past President and I am a former Board Member of Samartians365 (Kindness Matters).
